Soothing sounds of the past

The double album cover says it all.

41 original rock 'n' roll hits.

Some of the finest the Fifties/early Sixties had to offer.

Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, The Platters, Del Shannon, Bill Haley and the Comets, The Beach Boys and The Clovers.

It's on high rotation on my red retro Crosley record player as we speak.

The perfect soundtrack for writing my 'Life's Wee Lessons' book.

If you ain't got it, get it.

The record that is. The book won't be done for a little while yet.

PS - 'American Graffiti' was the first major hit for George Lucas - made him a millionaire well before anyone had heard of Luke, Han or Chewie.
